How to Vote and Propose Alternate Dates for an Upcoming Meeting for your Director

Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials! 

In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to vote and propose atlernate dates for an upcoming board meeting for your Director.

Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimised and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later).   

To vote for your Director: 

1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password. 

2) Switch Directors (if applicable)

If you wish to select another Director, at the top, select the Director's name from the list.

3) Under 'To-Do: Schedules', click on Action Required.

4) On the View Schedule page, you can view the basic information such as deadline, and participants. The Director's (Business User) name will be indicated at the top right of your screen.

Scroll down to the 'Proposed Dates' section, and vote on your Director's availability by selecting a Yes or No. The selected dates will be saved automatically in the system.  

Important Note: You can update your vote any time before the deadline. 

5) You will also find the Add Remark option if you wish to include any comments or remarks, and Propose Alternate Date to propose alternative meeting dates. 

6) If you click Propose Alternate Date, the 'Your Proposed Date' pop-up window will be displayed. Click on Add Date to proceed.  

7) Enter a Proposed Date, Start Time and End Time. Then, click on Update. 

8) Once updated, click on Confirm. 

You may enter more than 10 dates.

9) You will be able to see the dates you have proposed under the New Proposed Dates section. 

Other participants will be able to vote on your dates if the Schedule Administrator enables the option.

Important Note: You can also view other voters’ responses and remarks (if any) under the 'Individual Responses' section.
