Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to vote and propose an alternative date for an upcoming board meeting for your Director.
Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimized and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later). Please note that this support is intended for desktop environments and is not applicable to mobile devices.
To vote for your Director:
1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password.
2) Once you have logged in, you will be directed to Home. At the top of the screen, you will be able to see your Director’s name.
3) If you wish to switch to act for another Director,
a) Click on the default Director’s name.
b) Select another Director from the dropdown list.
4) Once you have selected the Director, under 'To-Do: Schedules', click on the Action Required next to the schedule name.
5) On the View Schedule page, you can view the basic information such as deadline, and participants. The Director's (Business User) name will be indicated at the top right of your screen.
6) Scroll down to the 'Proposed Dates' section, and vote on your Director's availability by selecting a Yes or No. The selected dates will be saved automatically in the system.
Important Note:You can amend your vote any time before the deadline.
7) If you wish to add remarks, click on the Add Remark button.
8) Enter your remarks then, click on Save.
9) To propose an alternative date, tap on the Propose Alternate Date button
10) On the 'Your Propose Date' pop-up window, click on the Add Date button.
11) Enter a Propose Date, Start Time and End Time. Then, click on Confirm.
12) You may enter more than 10 proposed dates. Once you have done updating, click on Confirm.
Note: You can also view other voter’s responses and remarks (if any) under the 'Individual Responses' section.
