How to Send a Reminder or Notify Pending Signatories

Modified on Sat, 16 May at 5:00 PM

Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to send a reminder or notify pending signatories.

Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimised and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later).

To send a reminder or notify pending signatories:

1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password.

2) From the left navigation menu, go to SmartSign and click on the Select Action button.

Then, select Notify from the pop-up menu.

Note: Preparers can only send reminders (notifications) to pending Signatories when the document is in In Circulation status.

4) On the "Notify Pending Signatories" pop-up window, select the checkboxes next to the Signatories you wish to notify, then click Send Notification.

Note: Greyed-out checkboxes indicate that the Signatory has already signed the document, or that the document follows a signing sequence and has not yet been sent to the Signatory.

5) Once the reminder has been sent out successfully, the signatories will receive a separate email from notifications@board.vision with the title

"<Company Name>: SmartSign Reminder - <Preparer name> has sent you a document to sign or review”.

You have completed the tutorial on how to send a reminder or notify pending signatories.
